A new club is starting at Chugiak! It is called Chugiak Students for Life and its purpose is to discuss and promote the right to life for all humans, both born and unborn. It will promote life by serving our community in a variety of ways. One example is at the Pregnancy Resource Center in Eagle River. Our first meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 7th at lunch in Room 203 where we will discuss our club formation, its purpose, and activities while we enjoy homemade cookies together. All are welcome.

Kindness is…giving the benefit of the doubt, a positive attitude, learning someone’s name, allowing other people the space they need to grow, not complaining, keeping a secret, taking responsibility for your own life.
To further continue on our path of The Science of Character, November will be noticed as KINDNESS month. Want free coffee from the Stompin’ Grounds? Free nachos from the Buck Stop? Teachers and staff will be watching for acts of kindness and recognizing students for portraying this positive character trait. Be recognized for doing something good for someone at Chugiak High!
