April 4 Announcements

 Way to go Mustangs! Day two of the food drive was a lot bigger and our current leaders have changed. First place is Ms. Portie’s class, 2nd place is Ms. Armstrong, and 3rd is Ms. Alexander. You can still bring donations to your 3rd hour teacher to donate between now and Friday.

 Come by the Art Room tomorrow and Friday to make Pysanky and eat karavai.

 Hey all you TrigStars, find your calculators and charge up your batteries for tomorrows exam. Head to room 207/208 directly after school tomorrow to compete!

 Juniors and Seniors – Prom royal court nominations voting is open. Please see the bulletin on the CHS Website or ask your teacher for the nominations link. Juniors and seniors each have their own link to vote. You may nominate up to 10 students for each category. Nominations will end Thursday after lunch. Court will be announced Friday morning. Guest passes are due Monday, no exceptions. Must pay your fee and fine before buying a ticket.

 The Talent Show is this Friday at 7 pm in the auditorium. It’s $5 for admission. Come support your friends.

 NHS has a meeting on Friday at lunch in room 4. All meetings are mandatory. Please see an advisor or officer if you cannot be there.

 Come get your free prom wear in the Library Meeting Room.

 Please turn in Intent to Participate for the Art Show to Mrs. LaRue in the Library as soon as possible.

 Applications to join next year’s yearbook staff are now available from your counselor. Questions about whether you would be a good fit for this job? Talk to Mrs. Gilbert in room 184.

 Want to make a difference at Chugiak High? Chugiak Student Government applications are now available next to the Student Body Board at the top of the ramp. We are looking for responsible students who are outgoing and creative. You will have the opportunity to build school spirit through various events, such as Homecoming, WACKO, and assemblies. Student Government also provides you with a platform have your voice heard. If you have questions about the responsibilities of any Student Government position, please see one of your class officers or Mrs. Portie in Room 181.
