  • It is Homecoming Spirit week:
    • Tomorrow:  Mismatch Day
    • Thursday: Throwback Thursday
    • Friday: Class Color Day
      • Freshmen wear red
      • Sophomores wear yellow
      • Juniors wear green
      • Seniors wear blue.
  • Come join the Students for Life Club that meets every Tuesday during lunch in Room 203 in House 2.  Its purpose is to help protect the rights of all children.  We will have cookies.
  • Chugiak’s Gay/ Straight Alliance is meeting today at lunch today, in room 194.  Please stop by and join us on our second meeting of the year. We will have two guest speakers from Indentity, Inc. visiting us.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Torbensen-Armstrong.
  • Key Club, a service club, meets at lunch tomorrow in the Library Meeting Room.  We are looking for new members, all students are welcome!
  • Guest passes for the Homecoming dance need to be turned into the Activities office no later than tomorrow.  There will be a limit of 50 guest passes issued for the Homecoming dance.
  • This week, and this week only, is your chance to vote for your Homecoming King and Queen!   Use tinyurl.com/2018KINGANDQUEEN Remember to log into your ASD Google Drive account before you vote.  Voting closes on Wednesday at 2 pm.
  • Cans, cans, cans, and more!  Tuna, fruit, soup, veggies, beans, tomatoes.  Also boxed goods: Cereal, Pasta, rice, crackers, and more.  Bring food Friday morning to the cafeteria.  One stamp per item up to 8 stamps.  Class competition!
  • Good morning Sophomores! Student Government is selling yellow t-shirts just in times for spirit week. Pick yours up today at the top of the ramp or at Buckstop during lunch for only $15.
  • Chugiak Mustangs:  The Homecoming dance is Saturday from 8-11pm.  Student Government will be selling tickets all this week during lunch and after school at the top of the ramp.  Tickets will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door. You will not be able to purchase a Homecoming ticket until all of your fines have been paid.  Please see Ms. Prince to pay fines.
  • Seniors and Juniors interested in attending UAA Fall Preview Day on Friday October 5, should see their counselor for a permission form. Seats on the bus are limited so return your permission requests early.
