Normal Bell Schedule

  • The Locker Decorating Competition ends this Thursday, December 5.  Please have your lockers done by 2PM and ready for voting!  Winners will be announced at the Winter Assembly next week!
  • All students and staff are invited to decorate holiday stockings for the  Salvation Army. Christmas music, hot chocolate, as well as supplies will be provided. In the Library after school today.
  • The Choir Concert will be 6pm and 8pm on Thursday.
  • Entries for the Annual Bookmark Contest are due Friday, December 6.  Pickup instructions and deliver entries in the Library.
  • There will be an informational football meeting this Thursday at lunch in the PE room for anyone who wants to play football next season.  Please be there! If you can’t make it talk to Coach Landers.
  • Winter Spirit Week is December 9 – 13!  Monday (12/9) is Holiday Hat/Sock Day, Tuesday (12/10) is Holiday Character Day, Wednesday (12/11) in Sweater Weather Day, Thursday (12/12) is Family Photo Day, and Friday (12/13) is Red Out/Green Out Day – Upperclassmen wear Green, Underclassmen wear Red.  Please see a Student Government officer or Mrs. Portie for more information.  Remember that your spirit day attire must be school appropriate.  If you have any questions about your outfits, please see one of our principals for clarification.
  • In February of 2020, Chugiak and Eagle River High will be combining forces and performing the Musical, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers.  Auditions for the Musical are on Friday December 13th after school from 2:30-4:30 in the Chugiak Auditorium.  Please prepare a 30-45 second monologue, as well as a song from a Musical that will showcase your vocal ability.  If you have any other questions, please contact Mrs. Petito!
  • The Battle of the Bands is coming January 31.  Student groups are encouraged to compete in this competition.  See Mrs. LaRue in the Library for entry information as soon as possible.
  • If you want to go out for a sport/activity you must get a golden ticket. There is a collection of them on Mrs. Huffer’s door. Go see Mrs. Huffer to be eligible.
