- The annual bookmark contest is back! See a librarian for information. Winners will get their bookmarks published by the district.
- Model United Nations will have its first meeting today, November 5th, in Ms. Thornton’s room, #192. If you love debate and are interested in diplomacy (and maybe even taking over the world), Model UN would be a perfect fit for you!
- The Gruening Librarian, Mrs. Johnson, would like to thank all of you for staying so quiet during lunch last week! We were able to conduct our classes and keep lunch open for you. Thanks for continuing to help us successfully navigate a shared library space.
- If you want to go out for a sport/activity you must get a golden ticket. There is a collection of them on Mrs. Huffer’s door. Go see Mrs. Huffer to be eligible. Last day to sign up for basketball is Nov 19th.
- There will be a JV/C-team football meeting in Coach Trombley’s room at lunch on Wednesday, November 6. Please attend if possible.
- There will be a Varsity football meeting Wednesday, November 6th at 6 PM in the team room. This is for any varsity player from this season (including seniors).
- The Municipality of Anchorage will be providing a FREE flu clinic for students and the public on Nov 6th from 9AM-1PM here at Chugiak High School, near the library entrance. No insurance required. Ages 6 months or older. Please bring signed consent by a parent if 17 or under. Please hold on to your consent form until the day of the clinic. The nurses office is not collecting forms.
